Councillor Anderson attends the Interfaith Works Project Kick Off on March 26, 2015.

The Interfaith Counsel of Education and Action and Habitat for Humanity  the Kick Off of the Interfaith Build, an annual project where interfaith communities of Edmonton volunteer with Habitat for Humanity from March until June to build homes for the less fortunate. This initiative is one of the ways the faith communities of Edmonton contribute to the Mayor's Task Force to end Homelessness in Edmonton.

The Kick-Off was held on March 26th 2015 at the Neufeld Landing build site in Rutherford.

Neufeld Landing is Habitat for Humanity Edmonton's largest build to date. It is also the largest Habitat development in Canadian History. The build is located in South Edmonton's Rutherford community and will be home to 64 families when completed. It is very exciting to work together to give a "hand up" to hard-working families!  See photos of the kick off event in the "Resources" section under "photos".
